Experience of Dejan Ukropina, Attorney at Law, acquired in past 10 years of active practice and previous 3 years during legal training is based on civil and commercial law. Important fields of work are also HR and corporate consulting.

As Teaching Assistant with the Faculty of Law in Novi Sad he was engaged on Legal Ethic, Legal Drafting and International Public Law chairs. In June 2003 he was appointed permanent court interpreter for the English language.

As member of the expert team, he was participating in drafting of Provincial Decision on Ombudsman adopted by the Provincial Parliament in 2002.

From 1994 he was actively involved, as a volunteer, in national Red Cross activities and International Humanitarian Law. In 2002 he has finished Specialist studies in Civil and Commercial Law of the European Union (Faculty of Law, University of Novi Sad).

He was member of a legal team representing Republic of Serbia (former FRY) before the International Court of Justice, the Hague, and appointed amicus curiae before the International Criminal Court for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).

Dejan Ukropina is member of the International Law Association (London, UK), International Law Association (Belgrade, Serbia), president of the Centre for Mediation and Individual Rights and vice-president of the Serbia Association of Young Attorneys.
